Place your conditioned clay in the center of your work area.

Roll from the center outward. Once the roller is making contact with the guides on both sides, the clay has reached the desired thickness. 25393mp4

These guides act as "rails" for your acrylic roller. By placing two guides of the same thickness on either side of your clay, your roller is prevented from pressing down further than the height of the guide, ensuring a flat, uniform surface. To avoid color contamination between projects, wipe the guides down with a baby wipe or a damp cloth after each use. These guides act as "rails" for your acrylic roller

Keep your pairs bundled together (e.g., with a rubber band) to avoid accidentally using mismatched thicknesses.

Work on a smooth, non-porous surface like a glass mat or ceramic tile.
