As the sunset deepens to purple, the town begins to turn into gargoyles. Luna and Leo find the final shard. However, to mend it, Luna must risk her powers to save Leo from a trap set by the lingering gloomy energy. She sacrifices her "adorability" (her source of chaotic, lighthearted power) to create a pure shield.
