Throughout the episode, a mysterious green-haired man (later identified as ) appears in the background. He saves her from being hit by a car earlier in the episode but later grins maniacally when she falls, hinting at a much deeper and potentially sinister connection to her forgotten past. The cafe staff goes on a three-day orientation trip to an island to view the Mnemid meteor shower . During the trip, the Heroine experiences fractured memories, including a conflicting vision of attending a festival with Kent , though he later claims to have no memory of such an event.

While alone with Shin , she experiences a chilling flashback where he confesses to her that he has "killed someone". Terrified and confused, she runs away from him and accidentally falls off a cliff.
