The Bolide driver, overconfident and carrying too much momentum, braked too late. Elias watched in slow-motion as the sleek supercar lost traction. It hit the guardrail with a sickening crunch. The engine block pushed back into the cabin, the hood folding in a perfect V-shape, and the entire front end disintegrating as the vehicle plummeted off the cliffside.
