Fran Bow -

Released in 2015 by Swedish studio Killmonday Games , Fran Bow is a psychological horror point-and-click adventure that has become an indie classic for its unflinching portrayal of childhood trauma and mental illness. Developed by husband-and-wife duo Natalia and Isak Martinsson, the game is deeply personal, incorporating autobiographical elements from Natalia's own life as a form of therapeutic expression.

The story follows 10-year-old Fran Bow Dagenheart, who witnesses the brutal murder of her parents. Found alone in the woods with her cat, Mr. Midnight, she is committed to the Oswald Asylum, an oppressive mental institution for children.
