The Stooges play three unsuccessful traveling salesmen attempting to sell fur coats in Valeska, a fictional Central American country plagued by constant earthquakes. Their luck worsens when they are mistaken for revolutionary spies and arrested for allegedly plotting to assassinate the country's leader, President Ward Robey.

: Sentenced to a firing squad, they are momentarily spared when Rita arrives with the real plans. However, they are quickly recaptured and placed back in front of the firing squad. A massive earthquake allows them to escape in a truck filled with explosives.
