In the late 1960s, actress Jean Seberg becomes a target of the FBI's program. Her public support for the Civil Rights Movement and her romantic relationship with Black Panther activist Hakim Jamal (played by Anthony Mackie) lead J. Edgar Hoover’s FBI to launch a smear campaign against her. The film depicts how this relentless surveillance and character assassination took a devastating toll on her career, mental health, and personal life. Director: Benedict Andrews.
