A nomadic race called the Nomai detected a signal from the Eye and traveled to the solar system to find it. They spent generations trying to locate it, eventually creating a time-loop technology to find its exact coordinates.

A blind violinist named Sydney (or Mun in the original) receives a cornea transplant that restores her sight. However, she begins to see terrifying ghostly figures and premonitions of death.

She discovers that her donor was a psychic woman who committed suicide after failing to prevent a village tragedy. Sydney eventually realizes she has inherited the donor's curse and must race to save others from a looming disaster.
