He was back in the lobby. His name glowed at the top of the leaderboard. He looked up at the tower, which had already shifted its colors to a sickening purple and lime green. Kael wiped the sweat from his brow, cracked his knuckles, and stepped back onto the first platform.
Kael took his first leap. The floor beneath him vanished the moment his boots made contact. He scrambled onto a narrow ledge, his heart hammering against his ribs. This wasn't a game for the faint of heart; one slip meant a plummet back to the cold, hard marble of the lobby. Tower of Hell
