COVRPRICE’S TAKE ON COMIC VALUES

A comic is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. With this in mind, CovrPrice only displays actual sales data (taken across multiple online marketplaces… not just eBay) to help you better determine the best value for your comics.

GRAPH - Total Graded Averages

Our goal for this graph is to show overall sales trends for officially graded comics. Here we take the average for each condition and display it as a data point. To see the most recent sales data for each condition be sure to look at the individual sales data listed in the tables below. Watch Beautiful Creature 2013 BRRip

WHY ARE SOME SALES MISSING?

“I sold a comic last week, why isn’t it showing up on your site?” Despite its $60 million budget and high-profile cast,

At CovrPrice, we capture tens of thousands of sales DAILY. It’s simply impossible for a human to determine the authenticity of every sale coming our way. (Trust us, we’ve tried) To ensure the quality of our data we error on the side of caution, valuing accuracy over quantity. We only integrate sales for comics that our robots are confident are correct. While we don’t capture 100% of every sale in the market we’re getting closer and closer to that goal. If you think we missed a sale that you want to be entered into CovrPrice just contact us at [email protected] with information about the sale and our humans will investigate and add it for you. HOW CAN I HELP COVRPICE CAPTURE MY SALES?

That’s easy, when listing your comics for sale on 3rd party marketplaces be sure you include the following: Comic Title, Issue #, Issue Year, Variant Info (usually the cover artists last name), and Grade info.

For example Captain Marvel #1 (2015) - Hughes Variant - CGC 9.8

This will help our robots better identify and sort your sales more accurately.

Despite its $60 million budget and high-profile cast, Beautiful Creatures failed to ignite a franchise. Its underperformance is often attributed to market oversaturation—arriving at a time when audiences were beginning to tire of "the next Twilight "—and stiff competition at the box office. Beautiful Creatures (2013) - IMDb

: Adding further weight to the production, Davis plays Amma, a character who blends small-town wisdom with supernatural guardianship. Strengths vs. Weaknesses

One of the film's strongest assets is its ensemble cast, which elevates the material beyond standard YA fare:

: The film features Academy Award winners Jeremy Irons as the reclusive Macon Ravenwood and Emma Thompson as the villainous Mrs. Lincoln/Sarafine. Thompson, in particular, is praised for her dual role, seamlessly transitioning between a pious town gossip and a sinister "Dark Caster".

: Reviewers noted that the leads hold their own with genuine chemistry and charismatic performances.

The 2013 film Beautiful Creatures , directed by Richard LaGravenese, stands as a curious artifact from the height of the Young Adult (YA) supernatural craze. While often dismissed as a mere "Twilight" clone, the film offers a more colorful, witty, and Southern Gothic-infused alternative to the typical teen romance. A Southern Gothic Supernatural Romance

: Unlike the brooding tone of Twilight , Beautiful Creatures embraces humor and wit. The world-building is "compelling" and the setting of Gatlin feels tangible and well-established.
