When using an Apple Watch, you can enter and manage text through several "Watch Now" methods designed for the small screen:

: If your paired iPhone is nearby and you start a text field on the watch, a notification will appear on your phone allowing you to type the message using the full iOS keyboard.

: Available on supported models (Series 7 and later), you can tap individual characters or use QuickPath by sliding your finger from one letter to the next.

: Tap the microphone icon to speak your message. To ensure this is active, go to Settings > General > Dictation on your watch.
