Young Sheldon S05e19 Apr 2026
Sheldon’s eyes widened. "A baby? In this house? The decibel levels will be intolerable! I’ll need to order industrial-grade earplugs. And if it's a boy, he'll likely want to play football, which means more laundry for everyone." Meemaw’s Intervention
George Sr. cleared his throat, eyes fixed firmly on his mashed potatoes. "Maybe we just let the lady eat, Mary. She's eating for two, and one of 'em is already a Cooper, so you know they're hungry." Sheldon’s Deductions Young Sheldon s05e19
Mandy blinked, her fork halfway to her mouth. "Well, I haven’t even picked out a crib yet, Mrs. Cooper. I was mostly focusing on not throwing up during the appetizer." Sheldon’s eyes widened
She turned to Mandy with a wink. "Don't mind them, dear. When Mary was pregnant with Georgie, she spent three weeks convinced the baby was going to be a professional wrestler because of how hard he kicked. Turns out, he's just a tire salesman in training." The decibel levels will be intolerable
Meemaw, sensing the dinner was seconds away from a total meltdown, reached for the wine bottle. "Mary, honey, why don't you go get the pie? And George, stop looking at your potatoes like they're a playbook."
The Medford air was thick with the scent of Mary’s brisket and a tension so heavy it could have stopped a freight train. At the dinner table sat the Coopers, Meemaw, and Mandy, who looked like she’d rather be anywhere else—including a DMV waiting room.
"Based on the increased cortisol levels in this room and the fact that Mom hasn't mentioned 'The Lord’s Plan' once without crying," Sheldon whispered to Missy, "I’ve concluded that Georgie hasn't just made a mistake. He’s made a biological mistake."
